February 21st Meeting of Lafayette Co. Republicans Postponed Due to Expected Severe Weather


FEBRUARY 21st MEETING POSTPONED


The Lafayette County Republicans meeting that is scheduled for Thursday, February 21st has been postponed due to expected severe weather. It will be rescheduled with the presenter who was going to give a program on gun issues, gun legislation, etc. This is a timely and vital topic, and we will let you know as soon as it is scheduled. Thank you for your understanding.


The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held the third Thursday of March on the 21st and will be a joint meeting with the Lafayette County Federated Republican Women. Time: 7 PM, Republican Women, followed by Lafayette County Republicans at 7:30 PM. Location: Lafayette Hall, 10th & Franklin, Lexington. Program: TBA.

 LA Gov. Bobby Jindall at Missouri Lincoln Days 2013: If Republicans want to start winning statewide elections in Missouri and take back the White House, the GOP needs to revamp its message and its target.

Catherine Hanaway, former Missouri House Speaker, at Missouri Lincoln Days 2013: "I don't believe we need to re-examine our core values. I think that those are winning principles," Hanaway said, as she summarized her address. "We really need to look at tactics. And chief among those tactics is how we communicate who we are."
