Kruse for Judge neighborhood coffee held in Lexington, MO. Russell Kruse is a running for Associate Circuit Judge, Division 2, in Lafayette County.

Russell Kruse, Lafayette County (R) candidate for Associate Circuit Judge Div. 2, was honored at a neighborhood coffee in Lexington on Sunday afternoon at the home of Earl and Doris Strickler. 

This kicks off a series of coffees that will be held around the county for Kruse for Judge.

Federated Republican Women's Thursday, April 24th Meeting Postponed; New Date TBA

Notice of meeting postponement:


The Federated Republican Women's Club of Lafayette County will not meet this Thursday, April 24th, due to the death of Wayne Wieligman, husband of longtime FRW member, Colleen.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington, Mo. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2014, at St. Luke Evangelical Church in Wellington with Pastors Tom Owens and Christopher Barnes officiating. Burial in St. Luke Cemetery, Wellington.

The FRW Club will reschedule with date yet to be announced.

Federated Republican Women's Club to meet Thursday, April 24th. There is no Central Committee meeting scheduled in April. Watch for May meeting information TBD.



The Federated Republican Women's Club of Lafayette County, Mo. will meet Thursday, April 24th at 7 p.m. at historic Lafayette Hall at the corner of 10th and Franklin in downtown Lexington.

Built in 1905 as the Lexington City Hall, the building has a floating dome that was used for civil defense watches during World War II. The historic structure has been restored and now houses several of Lafayette County court offices as well as Division 2 and Division 3 court rooms. It is open to the public.

Refreshments will be served, and the public is invited.

Fun, uplifting evening as we begin the 2014 election cycle.

Great crowd turned out March 28th for our Lafayette County Republicans Lincoln Dinner 2014 at the Wellington, Mo. Community Christian Center.  Senator Roy Blunt was the keynote speaker with Catherine Hanaway giving special remarks. Local office holders and candidates also spoke.
