Save the Date--Thursday, June 28th for joint meeting between Central Committee and Federated Republican Women


Joint Meeting of Federated Republican Women's Club
 of Lafayette County and Central Committee
Scheduled for June 28th  in Lexington

Deputy Chief of Staff Brian Klippenstein from Senator Roy Blunt's office will  speak on current issues in DC that affect Missourians, specifically the river management issues.

The Federated Republican Women's Club of Lafayette County will meet on Thursday, June 28th at 7 p.m. to be followed by the Central Committee meeting at 7:30 p.m.

The meetings will be held at historic Lafayette Hall, 10th and Franklin, Lexington. Both are open to the public. Refreshments will be served by Marlene Strodtman of Napoleon and Colleen Wieliegman of Wellington.

Brian Klippenstein, Deputy Chief of Staff (Missouri) for Sen. Roy Blunt, will be our speaker when the Central Committee meeting begins at 7 PM. Klippenstein is a lifelong Missourian who was raised on his family’s beef cattle farm in Maysville, Missouri, Klippenstein previously served U.S. Senator Kit Bond (Mo.) for 17 years, including five years as his Chief of Staff. A graduate of George Washington University, Klippenstein also previously served U.S. Representative E. Thomas Coleman (Mo.)

Candidates and office holders attending will give brief updates.

Lafayette County Delegation attends MO Federation of Republican Women's State Convention June 9th in St. Louis

Lana Crain, president, and Doris Strickler, secretary, attended the Federated Women's State Convention this past weekend and also visited with Missouri's three Republican Senate candidates -  Sarah Steelman, Todd Akin, and John Brunner.

Lafayette County Federated Republican Women were awarded the Diamond Achievement Award at the convention.
