Jefferson City: "Where's Ike?"

This month, patriots gathered outside Ike Skelton's district office in Jefferson City for a "No Town Hall Town Hall." The group gathered to protest Congressman Skelton’s decision to avoid town hall meetings and to let him see public opinion on the healthcare plan that is scheduled to come before Congress after the recess. Organizers recorded citizens' comments on health care reform legislation and sent it to the Congressman's office.
.
Ike Skelton has refused and will continue to refuse to host town hall meetings. He and his staff know his 95% voting with Nancy Pelosi does not match the district, so they are avoiding public meetings at all costs
