Western Missouri Patriots hold 1-1-10 Rally in Lexington, MO

A patriotic rally was held on New Year's Day, 2010, by the Western Missouri Patriots on the Courthouse steps in Lexington, MO. Organizers, Ken Blackmore and Steve Shelton, said the rally signaled the beginning of the New Year, 2010 elections, and was designed to send a message to Congress--"listen to your constituents!" Sgt. Paul Curtman, expert on political science, history and the U.S. Constitution, was the guest speaker. Curtman was a YouTube hit when he demanded an apology from Sen. Claire McCaskill at one of her healthcare forums last August, which the senator did not attend. The group began the rally with a prayer, Pledge of Allegiance, and the singing of "God Bless America."
